If I am lined up in a start zone at the back of the field that takes several minutes to cross the start line, will this give me a slower time?
Times are based on when you cross the start line and finish line, so in fact it will not matter where you line up at the start.
How is my time recorded at the start and finish?
A timing chip that is stuck to the back of your race number records your times when you cross the start line and finish line. Please do not peel it off or otherwise interfere with it in any way. It is important to wear your number not covered with another garment on the front of your running shirt. You do not have to return your number after the race.
Numbers are not transferable – please do not give your race number to another person to use.
